Returns, Warranty & Shipping

Thank you for shopping with Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. We are a small specialty business, and our policies are designed to keep things fair, clear, and consistent for our entire artist community.
By placing an order, you agree to this Returns, Warranty & Shipping Policy, our Terms and Conditions, and any product-specific information included in individual product listings.
Orders are governed by the policies in effect at the time the order is placed.
Return Policy
Returns
Return requests must be made within ten (10) days of delivery unless otherwise stated for a specific product.
To be eligible for return, items must be returned in new, unused, complete, and resellable condition, with all original packaging, parts, tags, labels, instructions, accessories, and proof of purchase included.
Items that are used, damaged, altered, incomplete, missing parts, or not returned in resellable condition may be declined or may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error made by Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated in writing. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.
Customer Ordering Errors & Product Compatibility
Please review all product descriptions, measurements, compatibility information, photos, kit contents, and product notes carefully before placing your order.
Product listings are considered part of the purchase terms. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that an item is appropriate for their equipment, project, and intended use before purchasing.
Customer ordering errors include, but are not limited to:
- Ordering the wrong item, size, model, kit, part, or accessory
- Ordering an item that is not compatible with your equipment, arbor press, stamp, die, attachment, or intended use
- Misunderstanding product compatibility, size, measurements, or kit contents
- Failing to read the full product description before purchase
- Changing your mind after ordering or receiving the item
- Purchasing a discontinued or clearance item without reviewing the final sale terms
Customer ordering errors are not considered Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. errors.
Unless the return is due to an error made by Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc., approved returns, canceled orders, and customer ordering errors are refunded as store credit only.
Return Process
To request a return, please email customer service at:
Please include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
If your return is approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number, also known as an RMA.
Returns sent without an RMA will be declined.
After receiving your RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase. Mail your return to:

Returns must be postmarked within seven (7) days of the RMA being issued unless otherwise approved in writing.
Store Credit, Refunds & Exchanges
After your return is received, we will inspect the item and process the approved return.
Please allow three (3) business days from the date we receive your return for processing.
Unless the return is due to an error made by Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc., approved returns will be issued as store credit only.
Refunds to the original payment method are only issued when Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. made an error, such as shipping the wrong item, or when a product is confirmed by us to be defective within the applicable reporting period.
Exchanges may be offered at our discretion depending on product availability and the condition of the returned item.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error made by Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within ten (10) days of delivery at:
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
We will review the issue and determine whether the item qualifies for repair, replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund according to our policies.
Products damaged by misuse, modification, improper tool pairing, normal wear and tear, or use outside of their intended purpose are not considered defective.
Flatwearable Silverware Bending Press
The Flatwearable Silverware Bending Press comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee beginning on the delivery date.
To request a return, you must contact us within thirty (30) days of delivery to obtain an RMA number. Returns will not be accepted after the 30-day window has passed.
If the return is not due to an error made by Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc., a 15% restocking fee will apply.
The product must be returned complete, with all original parts, accessories, and packaging included.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error made by Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc.
Clearance & Final Sale Items
Clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Other items may also be marked final sale in the product listing. Final sale items are not eligible for return unless required by law.
Refused or Unauthorized Returns
Returns received without an RMA number will be declined.
Unauthorized returns, refused deliveries, incomplete returns, or items returned outside the approved return window may be refused or returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Warranty Information
Flatwearable Limited Warranty & Customer Support Policy
Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. is committed to quality craftsmanship and fair, transparent customer support. This warranty applies to products manufactured by or exclusively for Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc.
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use.
Covered Products
Covered products include, but are not limited to:
- All models of Flatwearable Silverware Bending Presses
- Other tools and components produced in-house or under Flatwearable’s direction
Warranty Periods
Flatwearable Bender kits:
Covered for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
All other Flatwearable-manufactured products:
Covered for six (6) months from the original date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and becomes void if the item is resold, transferred, modified, or used outside of its intended design.
Warranty Exclusions & Limitations
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including nylon rollers, forming blocks, padded adhesive strips, and Velcro
- Stripped or cross-threaded bolts or holes
- Broken magnets
- Damage caused by misuse, modification, improper tool pairing, or use outside of the product’s intended purpose
- Damage caused by using equipment other than what is specified in the product listing
- Accidental damage
- Damage caused by fire, flood, or other events outside our control
- Products resold, transferred, altered, or purchased secondhand
Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. This Limited Warranty replaces any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except where such disclaimers are prohibited by law.

If we ask you to return the item for inspection, please ship it with a written description of the issue to:

We will inspect your item and contact you within three (3) business days of receipt.
If the defect is covered, we will repair or replace the item at no cost and return it to you.
If the issue is not covered, we may offer repair at cost, replacement parts at cost, or return the item in its current condition.
Customer Replacement & Damage Policy
Distributed Products
In addition to our own tools, Flatwearable offers a curated selection of third-party tools and supplies. These distributed items are not covered under our Limited Warranty, but we are still here to support you when possible.
Manufacturer Defects
If a distributed product is found to be defective due to manufacturing error within thirty (30) days of delivery, we will do our best to coordinate with the original supplier to provide a repair, replacement, exchange, or other appropriate resolution.
Manufacturer defect claims may require photos, video, return of the item, or supplier approval.
Customer-Caused Damage
If damage occurs due to misuse, wear and tear, accidental breakage, modification, improper tool pairing, or use outside of the product’s intended purpose, Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. is not responsible for a free replacement.
When possible, we may assist by:
- Offering replacement parts at a reasonable cost
- Facilitating a replacement order with the manufacturer
- Offering repair guidance or product support
Courtesy Assistance
We value our customer relationships. In some cases, and at our sole discretion, we may offer a courtesy replacement, discount, or other accommodation as a gesture of goodwill.
Courtesy assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not change our posted policies or create an obligation to provide the same accommodation in the future.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are based on package weight, destination, and shipping method. Current shipping charges are displayed during checkout.
The following shipping rates currently apply:
- USA: $8.00 shipping for orders under 8 ounces
- Canada: $20.00 shipping for orders under 8 ounces
- International: $26.00 shipping for orders under 8 ounces
- USA: $9.00 shipping for orders 8 ounces to 1 pound
- Canada: $23.00 shipping for orders 8 ounces to 1 pound
- International: $43.00 shipping for orders 8 ounces to 2 pounds
- USA: $13.00 shipping for orders between 1 and 4 pounds
- Canada: $33.00 shipping for orders between 1 and 4 pounds
- International: $56.00 shipping for orders between 2.1 and 3 pounds
- USA: $21.00 shipping for orders 4 to 8 pounds, medium flat rate box
- Canada: $60.00 shipping for orders 4 to 8 pounds, medium flat rate box
- International: $69.00 shipping for orders 3.1 to 4 pounds, medium flat rate box
- USA: $26.00 shipping for orders 8 pounds and over, large flat rate box
- Canada: $69.00 shipping for orders 8 pounds and over, large flat rate box
- International: $112.00 shipping for orders 4.1 to 8 pounds, large or medium flat rate box
- International: $130.00 shipping for orders 8.1 pounds and over, large flat rate box
Because carrier rates, packaging costs, and international shipping costs may change, Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. reserves the right to update shipping rates at any time. The shipping amount shown during checkout is the shipping charge that applies to your order.
Processing Time
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days.
If you are working on a tight deadline, please contact us before placing your order or leave a note at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate when possible.
Tracking
Tracking information is emailed once your shipping label has been printed. Tracking information is also available in your account.
Once a package has been accepted by the carrier, Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. is not responsible for carrier delays, missed scans, misdelivery, theft, or packages marked delivered by the carrier.
If tracking shows that a package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please check with your postal carrier, household members, neighbors, mailroom, or local post office.
Address Accuracy
Please verify your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
If an order is shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout:
- We cannot intercept or reroute the package once it leaves our hands
- Flatwearable Artisan Jewelry Inc. is not responsible for lost, misdelivered, delayed, or unreturned packages
- If the package is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange reshipping at your expense
- If the package is not returned to us, you will be responsible for placing a new order
Catalogs or books shipped via Media Mail are not eligible for free returns. If a Media Mail order is returned due to an inaccurate address, return postage billed to us will be charged to the customer.
Combined Orders
If you place multiple orders and forget to add something, we will try to combine shipments when possible.
However, due to payment processing fees, packaging time, and administrative costs, we do not issue shipping refunds for combined orders.
