Suzanne created 30 stunning designs that are specifically shaped to fit beautifully onto flattened spoon bowls. Each design comes with both the positive and negative versions, giving you a total of 60 images for only 50 cents each! These are downloadable files that will be delivered in PDF, JPG, and SVG formats. Please note that this is a digital product, and you will not receive a physical item.
When selecting your design, keep in mind that the black areas represent the resist, and the white areas are where etching will occur. To print the images, use glossy paper and a laser printer set to the darkest setting. If you don’t have a laser printer, you can take the files to a local copy center like Kinkos, Staples, or OfficeMax to get them printed. Be sure to request glossy paper and the darkest setting. You may also want to print more than one set, and if you have access to a vinyl cutter like a Cricut or Silhouette, you can use it to cut the images in vinyl and use those as your resist for better results.
Upon checkout, you will receive a link to download the files, which will be saved in your shopper account for future access. Please note that these images are for personal use only and cannot be distributed, shared, or sold. Copyright February 2022.
We also offer plastic templates for the ring shapes which you can use to trace the shape onto the spoon bowl.
It’s important to note that the paper used in the video to transfer the image to the spoon bowl peels off, and it comes from The Magic Touch USA company, item CPM 6.2. However, this paper is quite expensive, so we recommend using glossy paper instead. After the spoon bowl cools, soak the paper off and rub until only the toner image remains. With these tips, you’ll be able to create beautiful etched designs on your spoon bowls and let your imagination run wild.
