A wood spacer block is available to provide extra support at the base of most 1-ton arbor presses. It is designed to fill in the gap at the bottom of the press. However, due to variations in the manufacturing process of the press base, some manual adjustments may be necessary to achieve a perfect fit. Sanding the spacer block in specific areas might be required. If your press has a square recess instead of a curved one, then you must trim the wood block accordingly.
